할리팩스의 새로운 학교 소식이예요​

​​

저희 동네 근처에 가까운 중학교가 없다 했는데

프리프라이머리(4세)부터 9학년(중학교)까지
다닐 수 있는 학교를 2021-22에 오픈한다고
발표하더니

이내 같은 곳에 고등학교까지 짓네요

그래서
오픈시기는 살짝? 뒤로 밀리는것 같구요!

핼리팩스로 유입되는 인구가
증가하면서
아파트등 건설업을 비롯해서
전에 비해 활기를 띄는 할리팩스의 분위기를
느끼실 수 있어요

쇼핑몰에도 사람들로 가득하구요!​

핼리팩스 다운타운에서 기생충도
봤구요!

관객은 저희 빼고는 캐네디언들이였어요

역쉬
봉감독님의 파워와 한국인으로 자긍심도 느꼈네요​

도착해서는
찍은 사진은 두장이 전부예요!

NSCC 카페테리아에서
학식으로 피자도 먹고

캠퍼스간에 셔틀버스도 운행하고
있어서
오늘 NSCC 여러 캠퍼스를
둘러보시기에
좋을 것 같아요!

HFX Wanderers Football Club, Halifax's professional soccer club, burst onto the scene this spring as they embarked on their first-ever season in the Canadian Premier League. Comprised of players both home-grown and from around the world, the Wanderers bring together a range of stories about the newcomer experience. From the many ways their lives have been enriched by sport, to their strong ties to immigration to Canada past and the present, the Wanderers are truly “Together from Aways.” Join head Coach Stephen Hart, a Trinidad and Tobago immigrant, alongside two of his players in this fun and enlightening chat about soccer, immigration and culture, followed by Q&A, autograph session and reception.

Date: Tuesday, October 15
Time: 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Location: Andrea and Charles Bronfman Theatre

가을 가을한 핼리팩스는
오늘도 너무 이뻐요!

처음 정착하시는 분들을 위한 쿠킹 클라스가
있어 공유합니다!

Here is a bit of information about this program,
in case you wonder what it is all about:



This is a free program;
we provide all the groceries,
supplies and cooking equipment

The registration started
September 10
To register, the participants have to submit a favorite recipe from their home-country
by email to Tatjana
(no more than 12 ingredients, please).
Space is limited and the registration is
on a first-come, first-served basis.

The participants will only be considered registered once they submit their recipe.
There will be 2 series of workshops.

One can sign up for one or another:

Series #1: October 15 – November 5

Series#2: November 12-December 3

Upon registration,
the participants will be expected to commit to all 4 sessions in one series .
All sessions are planned for Tuesdays, 10-12.
The program will be held in Lou Duggan Creative Studio on the second floor of Central Library.


This program is a great social platform
– in each session the newcomers get to enjoy the delicious food they prepare while sharing stories from home.
Cooking Club for Newcomers is great for skill building (presentation, facilitation, leadership, team building, etc.), which could improve the employability of our participants.

The program is run in fun,
relaxing, and no pressure environment where we learn from each other. It is a true community of food lovers where everyone is supportive.
