CLLC 핼리팩스의 조건부 대학진학 과정 12주 UPP 이수 후 NSCC 컬리지 진학

CLLC 는 NSCC 노바스코샤 커뮤니티 컬리지의 조건부 대학진학 과정을 운영하는 

핼리팩스의 대표적인 어학연수 학교 중 하나입니다. 

NSCC  입학 관련하여 최근 들어 많이 받는 질문 중 하나가

"조건부 대학진학 과정을 이수하고 NSCC 입학할려면 어학연수를 얼마나 받아야 하죠?" 입니다. 

학생의 현재 영어 실력이 ielts 5.5 인 아래 학생의 경우에 있어서 받은 

CLLC 의 답변 내용을 보면    

UPP (Level 7) 과정에 바로 입학할 수 있는 조건은 아래와 같습니다.

- IELTS overall 5.5  이상(각각의 band score 5.5 이상) 또는 overall 6.0

- CLLC 의 LEVEL 6 과정을 성공적으로 이수

- LEVEL 6 에 준하는 과정을 Language Canada 에서 인증하는 다른 교육기관에서 이수

위 조건을 충족하여 UPP 과정에 바로 진학하면 12주의 UPP 과정을 이수하고 NSCC 입학허가를 받게 됩니다. 

UPP 로 바로 진학하기에 실력이 다소 부족하다고 레벨테스트 결과가 나오면

4주 ~ 8주 동안 LEVEL 6 과정을 듣고 UPP 과정으로 올라가게 됩니다. 

In order to access our UPP directly, Ms. Y would need the equivalent of a 5.5 IELTS (with no band score below 5.5) or show proof that she completed the equivalent of our Level 6 at another Languages Canada approve school.

Our Level placement test is only scored as high as Level 6.  Direct entry to UPP requires one of the following items above.

Now, if she does score Level 6, and her English is amazing but she doesn’t have the details above to show, she can request an “early” move up with the support of her Level 6 teachers and write the Level 6 move-up test early.

I hope that doesn’t sound too confusing, but we have this policy to place to ensure our UPP students are well prepared to attend and thrive at our university and college partners.
